Welcome to the pages of the Academic International Relations Office of the Evangelische Hochschule für soziale Arbeit Dresden (FH).

The Evangelische Hochschule für Soziale Arbeit Dresden was founded as the only Fachhochschule in the new federal Lands with a profile of social work as well as social and welfare work in the Diakonie (the welfare and social service agency of the Evangelical Church in Germany) in 1991 in the course of the German reunification.

Around 500 students are studying in full-time or on-the-job courses in the fields of social work, care science and pre-school and nursery education at the ehs Dresden. On the one hand the Academic International Relations Office helps foreign students, lecturers and scientists to settle down at our institution and in the city of Dresden, irrespective of whether they are here in exchange for one or two semesters or for a full-time course. On the other hand the International Relations Office sees itself as an adviser for and supporter of German students, lecturers and scientists with regard to their planned activities abroad.
