The course provides students with a basic qualification for getting involved in all fields of action in social work, starting with various responsibilities in child and youth welfare and the growing field of geriatric care through to the more demanding field of counselling. Graduates of this course will be excellently qualified to work as a recognised social work professional.
Students deal with the fundamentals and different tasks of social work in 21 thematic and organisational units. Each of the modules combines elements from different scientific disciplines and is both problem-led and practice-oriented. Having successfully completed a module, students are able to act in this field on their own.
